Run in your terminal
claude mcp add upstash -e UPSTASH_EMAIL=YOUR_VALUE -e UPSTASH_API_KEY=YOUR_VALUE -- npx -y @upstash/mcp-server

2. Sign in
Run /mcp inside Claude Code to sign in to remote servers that use OAuth. Upstash runs locally and needs UPSTASH_EMAIL, UPSTASH_API_KEY. Replace the placeholder values above with your own before starting Claude Code.
3. Try it
Ask Claude Code for something Upstash can do. Manage Upstash Redis, QStash and other Upstash resources through the Upstash Developer API. Approve the first tool call and check the result before allowing write actions automatically.
