What the Cypress Cloud MCP server can do

Authentication

OAuth (recommended), or a personal access token from your Cypress Cloud profile sent as Authorization: Bearer for clients without OAuth. OAuth sessions reconnect automatically for 30 days.

Options

  • An admin must turn on the integration on the organization's Integrations page before users can connect.
  • Setup guides for Antigravity, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot in VS Code, GitHub Copilot CLI and OpenAI Codex CLI.
  • GitHub Copilot CLI supports the personal access token only.

Good to know

  • Included on every Cypress Cloud plan, including Starter, at no extra cost.
  • Limited to 100 tool requests per hour on all plans.
  • Read only. It cannot modify your test code or delete runs.
  • Accessibility and UI Coverage tools only return data if your organization subscribes to those products.
  • cypress_get_failed_tests does not return test artifacts. cypress_get_specs returns up to 25 specs per page.
  • mcp-remote needs Node.js v22 or later.
