Authentication
Glean OAuth Authorization Server (OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, recommended) through your SSO, with Dynamic Client Registration limited to Glean-approved hosts or admin-created static clients. Fallback: a user-scoped Glean Client API token with the MCP scope.

- Each organization has its own server URL; users find host-specific setup in Settings, Install, MCP Configurator
- Glean tools include Search, Chat, Read Document, Code Search, People, Artifacts and Image generation
- Expose Glean agents as tools, build custom servers, and proxy third-party MCP servers or connector tools through the Glean MCP Gateway
- Dynamic skills and tools toolset discovers tools on demand
- Plug-ins for Cursor, Claude Code and Codex

Good to know
- Requires a Glean customer instance; it is enabled by default with OAuth for new customers
- Usage-based pricing applies under Glean's FlexCredit terms
- Only the search, chat and read_document names are spelled out in the docs; the rest depend on how your admin configures the server
