What the Lucid MCP server can do

Authentication

OAuth 2.0 with Dynamic Client Registration. The server can reach any Lucid document you have permission to access in your account.

Options

  • Search documents, summarize them, create share links, share by email, export as PNG and fetch shape images
  • Create diagrams from a prompt, org charts from CSV or text, and UML sequence diagrams from PlantUML
  • Edit, add or delete shapes in an existing document
  • Skills library in the repo, plus Cursor and Claude plugins
  • Use mcp-remote for clients without HTTP transport

Good to know

  • Available on Free, Individual, Team and Enterprise plans but not on FedRAMP accounts
  • Team and Enterprise admins can turn MCP access off under Admin, Security, Feature controls
  • Lucid says the server is a pass-through and does not retain document content, prompts or queries
  • Tool names are not listed in the README
