Authentication

OAuth login with your Mintlify account; the session inherits your dashboard permissions. For environments where nobody can sign in, create a credential under MCP, Credentials.

  • Edits on other branches auto-commit about 15 seconds after the last change and open a pull request
  • publish with merge: true also merges the pull request when direct edits are allowed
  • publish and discard act on whole pages
  • Separate search MCP server for docs readers

Good to know

  • Project management writes apply immediately to the live project, with no branch or pull request
  • Deploy-branch edits are refused when branch protection requires pull requests or when you use a machine-to-machine token
  • discard on a non-deploy branch deletes the branch and closes its pull request
  • Admin-only actions need an admin role on the project
