Authentication

Live server: OAuth in the browser or a live API key as a Bearer token in the Authorization header. Sandbox server: sandbox API key as a Bearer token only.

Options

  • A separate sandbox server runs at https://sandbox-mcp.paddle.com/mcp.
  • Clients without remote HTTP support can proxy through npx -y mcp-remote.
  • show_metrics_chart draws interactive charts in clients that support MCP Apps.

Good to know

  • The server does not gate destructive operations. They only carry a destructiveHint annotation and a warning field.
  • Sandbox keys (pdl_sdbx_) and live keys only work on their matching URL.
  • Live OAuth starts with read access. Reports need report.write and charts need metrics.read.
  • Variables do not persist between execute calls.
  • Charts cover revenue, refunds, chargebacks and checkout conversion, refresh every 24 hours in UTC. Report CSV links expire after 3 minutes.
